Ukrainian Language at the University: Open Forum

The PCUH in association with the Saskatchewan Teacher's of Ukrainian Association, Dept of Languages and Linguistics and St Thomas More College have organized an Open Forum Session -- A New Community/University Partnership: The Ukrainian Language Program at STM/ U of S -- at the Annual meeting of the Saskatchewan Teacher's Association. The objectives of the forum are to provide key stakeholders with a brief planning update on Ukrainian language at the university; solicit community input and discuss strategic options to both help maximize enrolments and stabilize the program; and invite stakeholders to work with university members tasked with program oversight and delivery. The PCUH will announce at the session its financial support for Ukrainian language instruction at the advanced (3rd year) level by way of agreement with St Thomas More College.
