Dr. Swyripa Lecture at STM
On Monday, November 15, PCUH will present a lecture by Dr. Frances Swyripa, professor of history (U of Alberta). The lecture, titled " Place in the Land and Ethno-Religious Identity on the Prairies: the Ukrainian Experience," will take place in room 344A in STM College. Everyone is welcome.
At 7:30 pm on the same day, Dr. Swyripa will also launch her new book "STORIED LANDSCAPES: Ethno-Religious Identity and the Canadian Prairies" (U of Manitoba Press, 2010) at McNally Robinson Booksellers.
