The College's Mission and Vision serve as the guiding principles for the development of three themes or ‘pillars' that inform the College's Strategic Plan 2010-2013: Encouraging a Culture of Transition, Ensuring the Resources for Our Renewal, and Mission Fundamentals.
These pillars, in turn, guided the work of six planning teams, which were charged with identifying the ways in which these themes will manifest themselves in the work of the College over the next three years.
Directed by a Steering Committee, the planning teams' role in the strategic planning process is to develop and measure goals, objectives, and strategies that are consistent with and support the Mission and Vision of the College. Also, each planning team was responsible for offering success indicators or metrics as a means of evaluating the effectiveness of each strategy.
The key outputs of the planning teams are the development of action plans that detail goals, objectives, strategies, metrics, and resources, and a brief Mission/Vision-related narrative that supports the elements in the submitted Action Plan template.
