Research Interests

  • Factors important to quality of life for older adults with dementia who are living in long-term care
  • Support needs of older adults who are newly diagnosed with dementia
  • Neurological disorders, personal identity, and social identity (self, personhood)
  • Psychological and social factors important to healthy aging

  • Health professionals’ beliefs about personhood in dementia and their influence on intended patient care (with Dr. T. Hadjistavropoulos, University of Regina)
