grad·u·a·tion (gra-jə-ˈwā-shən) noun
1. the award or acceptance of an academic degree or diploma
con·vo·ca·tion (kän-və-ˈkā-shən) noun
1. a ceremonial assembly of members of a college or university
There are two great times of the year to be part of a university/college community. One is the beginning of classes in September when the exictement and potential energy make campus buzz. The second is convocation, where faculty, staff, family, and friends celebrate the success of our newest graduates.
Convocation marks the end of one phase of your life and the beginning of another, and we are very pleased to be a part of that with you.
