Academic Plan 2010 - 2015

This academic plan is part of the Strategic Planning process that St. Thomas More College undertook in 2009 - 2010 to create a new strategic plan for the years 2010 to 2013. Like the College's first academic plan (2003 - 2008), this plan covers a five year period (2010 - 2015). This plan also follows upon Goal 2 of the 2007 - 2010 Strategic Plan, which sought to renew and implement the 2003 - 2008 academic plan fully. While this plan builds on these previous planning exercises, the 2010 - 2015 plan presents new academic directions for St. Thomas More College.

At its December, 2009 meeting, STM Faculty Council established an Academic Planning Team composed of Council members, with the Associate Dean and Dean as ex officio members. This planning team has drafted the present academic plan after developing the Foundational Statement and Guiding Principles that appear below and presenting them to Faculty Council, where they were approved at its March, 2010 meeting.
